Core Beliefs
We are a community of faith about “More Love”
Love for God
Luke 10:27, “...love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.”
Faith begins with loving God who is self described as a God of love. When we look around our world and even throughout history we find that God’s answer to human problems and challenges is always “more love”. More love begins with our loving God and then moves to loving those around us.

Love for Others
1 John 4:12, “...if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
It would appear that our society is becoming more and more divided by a variety of issues which we all face to varying degrees. The direction of God’s word has always been for people to love one another in response to the challenges, problems and difficulties which arise within human cultures. More love toward others means more grace, more kindness, more compassion, more justice, more forgiveness toward others in our world. This has always been God’s answer to what ails the human condition.

Love for Ourselves
Romans 13:9, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Proverbs 19:8, “To acquire wisdom is to love yourself.”
A balanced and healthy love for ourselves is taken as a given in Scripture. Love your neighbor “as yourself” is the admonition of Jesus to those who looked to him for wisdom. After all, we are created in God’s image and we bear that image regardless of our life experience or present circumstances. When we love ourselves we are more able to love God and love others also.

Love for Creation
Colossians 1:16, “God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see...Everything was created through him and for him.”
The ancient Celtic Christians held the belief that God could be seen in and through the created world and therefore they loved creation as an expression of who God was and is and always will be. For most people, looking around and appreciating the natural world does speak to them about the love of God for them. If nothing else, creation is awe inspiring and something beyond our human ability to produce. We live on the one planet in the known universe that has the perfect balance of all features which sustain all of the life we see around us.
While we endeavor to love God, love others, and love ourselves...loving and appreciating creation is another reasonable response to all God has provided for us in this life.
